Are you looking for information on their lives after the marriage or are you researching their ancestors? If it is the latter, you need to buy their marriage certificate which will show, amongst other things, their fathers' names and occupations. This information should help you to progress you research back. Make sure you get the certificate direct from the GRO (www.gro.gov.uk). It will cost £9.25 including postage and take about a week to arrive (though a bit longer if ordered now, because of the Easter break). Do not be tempted by third parties (including Ancestry) who will try and charge you considerably more for a much slower service.
