Hi, I agree, I have this information, for this to be true my theory is that he may have been visiting relatives in Northamptonshire (it is possible that he was born in that county) and died whilst there. His son Ernest William was born in Plymouth Devon 19 Jan 1880 and the father is marked as deceased on the birth cert, given that the gestation period is 9 months he could have been alive as early as March/April, I suppose I may have to 'bite the bullet' and order the death cert?
