If there's a Bedfordshire connection it's helpful to say what it is, rather than give us the impression that you've posted on the wrong board. I see from your posting history that you've referred to Keysoe Beds Filsells in the past. But there were also Filsells in Hailsham prior to the marriage so perhaps you have posted on the wrong board.

Harry is usually short for Henry, although it can be used as a name in itself,

There are two plain Harry Filsells born in Bedford registration district which covers many parishes in north Beds, in the Jun quarter 1904 and Mar quarter 1905. In 1911 the older one appears to have been born in Bromham, the son of Frank b Keysoe in 1874, and he died in March 1970 in Bedford reg district; and the younger one was born in Keysoe the son of Herbert born at Keysoe in 1878, and he died in Bedford reg district in Jun 1972. Whether either of these is the one who married in Sussex and had 8 children in Sussex remains to be seen.

As Carole said, you need the marriage cert to get his father's name.
