They lived in Marston Moretaine - great grandparents Charles Odell (d1907), and Ada Elizabeth (d1931). They had 7 children who died in infancy between the 1880s and 1900s. I've checked Marston, Cranfield, Wootton, Ampthill burial records and graveyards, and the BFHS send a list of burials they had recorded via Parish records, that had been sorted out to date. Absolutely no sign of them. They were staunch Methodists, and as the chapels didn't have graveyards, it raises the question of where were the non-denominational residents buried? These aren't the only ones I'm missing - just the closest. Funeral directors are required by law to give a completed 'green slip' regarding disposal of remains, to the registrars, which indicates creamtion/burial (and if so, where). This has been the practive for decades, though I don't know when it started.
