Hello,

I am researching the Sheltons of Bedford, in particular Alfred Charles Shelton and his father Alfred George Shelton who ran The Crown on Tavistiock Street (now Harpurs) in the late 19th Century/early 20th Century and lived variously at Tavistock Street, Offa Street (the former name of part of Tavistock Street), Kimbolton Road and De Parys Avenue. AGS's father was Robert Shelton and his father was John Shelton.
Any information on the Shelton family or the Crown would be much appreciated.

Also I am trying to research the Savage family of Odell, in particular Levi Savage and his direct ancestors.
