I would like to ask assistance from anyone who may be able to help me. I was told that my great-grandfather Anton Zuk/Zukow/Zukowsky was alledgedly a. related to General Zukow (Zhukov) and that b. he worked as a gamekeeper for Tsar Nicholas II. Any facts or documents about him are completely not verifiable to date (such as immigration, etc). I was also told he snuck into the US from Canada, so somehow he made it to Canada. So I am really at square one. If I can find his immigration to Canada, that might be a good start. I am going on the premise that he was from Grodno (Belarus), that he stated on his Declaration of Intention. If he was a gamekeeper as stated, it is possible he may have lived in, or lived nearby, the village of "Byelovyezhe" (sp?).
Anyway, I am sort of at a loss, and trying to see if anyone has any ideas. Does anyone know if genealogy research has been done on General Zukow?
Thanks everyone!
