I don't know how I missed this message before, but I did also respond to your personal message I received recently.

The answer to the U of M question is in that response.

Your friend is not entirely correct. Raj can be a first name, last name, a nickname, or shorthand for a last name. Raj is the family name for this person and his family, and has been prior to the British Raj. It is unusual for a family to bear this name as it is related to the former system in place prior to the British Raj. Raj means "King" and I have been told that we were once royalty on this side of the family, and it would have only be used by someone with similar lineage.

Yes, Mohan Raj and Lillian Adams were married in Minnesota to the best of the knowledge of our family, but I have not been able to track down the marriage record yet.

In response to the last question, this would have been her final return. I sent you a secondary message as follow-up to the first respones I sent to the personal message to clarify additional things I remembered.

I would also like to note for anyone else who comes across this that I would be pleased to send you the same information, as most of it was sent by personal message response and not this post.
