Thank you for posting this. My 6x G.Grand Father was Edward Harrison, Governor of Fort St George. Close relatives included: Proby, Torriano, Pitt, Pryce, Frith & Cooke. The Pitt family themselves had occupied the post of Governor, Nathaniel Torriano was a supercargo like my 5x G.Grandfather. There are lots of other surnames there too as being closely connected with the EIC in the 18C.
