...just asked the daughter-in-law that question. She says her mother-in-law (a daughter of Dr. Jay) remembers in her childhood, her father talking about being brought up in Kenosha. His father was a doctor also, and he talked about going out on house calls with his father in their sleigh. She rather lost touch with her father in the later years, apparently, and a lot of things, she never really knew. She left S. Africa at age 22 and ended up back in the states, eventually. Her brother lived and died in S. Africa.
