I would suggest that Ancestry scrap this whole idea and start over. If they are dead set on something like this then contact the site owners they wish to include first and get permission before having to go back and spend hours removing data they have taken. There is so much data still hidden within boxes and microfilm that is not available anywhere on the internet. Their time could be so much more well spent than doing something like this. Ancestry is an excellent genealogy site for researchers who are willing and able to pay the subscription fee but there are many who just can't afford it. I'm having a hard time trying to understand why Ancestry would take the time to do this in the first place.
