I know this is an old post, but I am getting tired of beating my head against the wall and thought I would give it a try.I would be very interested in ANY information you have on the McIntire/McEntire's. This line is becoming extremely difficult and so much information does not match. I descend through Alexander McEntire 1707 and Janet Unknown 1715 son James.

James married Lucretia Gregory and had a son James. Their son James married Rachel Poston, who had a son James Seaborn. McIntyre. James Seaborn is my 3rd great grandfather.

I have also heard there are native American ancestors in the mix, but have done good so far to determine what I have about the McIntyre's. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I can be reached at cindy@kcwebvisions.com.
