Hello..I've always been told over the years from my grandmother on my mom's side that we were related to John Wesley Hardin, Elvis Presley, Jim Reeves & an Indian Princess that was on the Trail of Tears..I've linked Elvis to my tree but haven't been able to figure out the others yet..Jim Reeves shouldn't be too hard since my grandfather was his cousin & he used to ride motorcycles with him in the mountains of Colorado..just have to figure out the actual line..anyway..any help with the John Wesley Hardin part would be great..I believe the connection should be on my maternal grandmother's side..Her maiden name was Vera Lucille Buffalo & her father was Samuel Isaac Buffalo..he was born in Diboll, TX in 1905..his father & mother were Oscar Lee Buffalo & Rachel Edna Crager (Rachel's mother & father were Isabell Beard & John Martin Crager)..Oscar Lee's father was, I believe to be another Samuel & Mary Ann Pilcher..so far I haven't been able to find any Hardin's in the tree yet..but still working on it..lol Any help would be appreciated..
