If I stated Jacob Whitson was in Indian territory in 1830, I made a mestake.
What I intended to say was, Jacob was living in what had been Indian territory in 1840. To determine this I took a map from Arkansas Territory 1820 (map # 4) and laid over it a map from 1850 with countie lines changed. I located Conway Co. on the 1820 map where 1840 census placed Jacob living in Lick Mt.Conway Co.
