Edith Poole Spooner's parents were Alfred DuPont Poole (1847-1875)and Florence BARE Poole (1847-1930). The spelling of the name Bare is uncertain, however it is Amish. She was from Lancaster ,PA. It seems that Annie Poole Pyle is Alfred's sister. I have a family tree posted on GENi,com starting with Alfred. Edith married Raymond John Spooner, and they lived in East Aurora, NY. Raymond was a close cousin of Lysander Spooner, One Of The Most Prominent Abolishionist During The Civil War. And, yes, We Are related to The DuPont Family of DuPont Industries.
