Would you happen to know of a Peter Cobb born approximately 1884 to mother Lula? My family oral history suggests that my great grandfather, Peter Worthy, is said to have been born Peter Cobb (mother Lula) in Sparta, GA but around 1923 (after marrying Ammie Cartwright and having five daughters) he was accused of murder and/or mob running. I have no records of him before he was called Peter Worthy.
