I am still reeling from the sad life of the two Schwerin boys. !!

I am working another another group of Brooklyners looking for marriages and spouses again- the family of my great aunt by marriage and have used the Marriage search on Ancestry and FamilySearch with no luck. I was surprised that I could find none of them! I know that is just a generic choice doing it this way and sometimes you have to be more creative, thus my e mail.

It is a family of Marquis namely
Mary Louisa b 1885
George H b 1886
Nellie b 1890
John 1892
Ida 1900
Emily 1902
Louisa 1906

They were all born in Brooklyn

Now I notice you both used something in your research with which I was unacquainted called Fultonhistory. You seemed to have magical access to many newspaper articles that were beyond my grasp. I went to the site and it is vast!! Is the best way to find marriage announcements to type in the name or the locality and years?

I suspect this family is quite normal and colorless. ;)
