Hi my name is Kathryn............for some time now I've been trying to find information on my grandmother's Poindexter ( Bowen side of the family )
Her father's name was Eddie B. Bowen his parents were John H. and Lucinda Ishmael Bowen....John's parents were William Bowen, Nicholas county Ky born July 4, 1808 died Nov. 3 1860..........Nicholas county Ky
he was married to Henrietta Linn/Lynn
William's father's name was William born abt 1758 in I think Lunenburg city Virginia died abt July 23 1847 in Nicholas county Kentucky..........he married I believe Elizabeth Smith they had abt 8 children.
