this is a really nice offer. I am in Illinois. I am looking for my gggrandfather. I know my ggrandfather william albert wood was born in Hancock County 1861. His father was Charles, I don't know his mother's first name but her maiden name was waller or walters. I am having difficulty finding anything on Charles. I have had a lead of a william wood being born in 1861 or 1862. He was listed in the infirmary in the 1870 and 1880 census records possibly with Maria. I can't find the connection though to Charles. William came to Shelby County Illinois and married and had a family.. I have good records until I hit Charles in Hancock County. I don't know siblings or anything.
