My husbands family both sides come from around Harrisonburg, we haven't had much luck on the internet with them so we decided to go down, and when I found out it was only about 50 miles to Hardy Co. we decided to spend a week,should find something. Have you been in touch with Chas. Davis? He comes from Adam Shirk Henry's son , I come from John, Henson, Alice, Where do you fit in and I'll see if I can find for you. Charles says that they owned propertyat Burkett's Hole 4 miles from pETERSBUG ON cAVE mT. PRESENTLY OWNED BY John Waddy but I didn't know about the Shirk Cemetery. I'll keep in touch.
