I too reasearched Bethel Cemetary but couldn't find anything on Moses. I is my understanding that Cane Creek is an old name for Bethel. I too believe Mary Ann's name was Johnson, but I found something that is puzzling me. In the Vol IV, Probate and Chancery Notices from Arkansas Newspapers 1819-1845, page 65, I found a divorce notice for Bryant, William vs Mary Ann a/k/a Johnson, Yell County, md 1838. The notice appeard in the Van Buren Arkansas Incelligencer on March 11, 1843. This Mary Ann would be too old for our Mary Ann Johnson. Have you found this same info? What do you make of it?
