I just found a WWII Draft Registration Card for a John Lojas Kosla, place of residence 1634 W. 15th Street, Chicago, IL, born on Aug. 15, 1884 in Poronin. Nearest relative is Mrs. Angeline Kosla (most likely his wife), same address. John was 58 years old and worked for Vellum Davies, 4101 S. Union Ave, Chicago at the time. According to the Registrar's Report his hair and eyes were brown, he wore dark glasses and was blind. He registered on April 27, 1942 at the Local Board No. 127, Chicago City, 1020 N. Western Ave. Could this be your husband's grandfather?
