Thanks to all for the interesting comments. Little did I know that I would need information on a convent for my grandmother. Her name was Ann Condon Penrod. She was born 5 Sept 1891. I was told she entered the convent probably about 1908. (She was from Columbus, OH) She left due to illness and met my grandfather. Stories said she took care of my grandmother who was ill and another story was she took care of the children. There would have only been one child, my uncle, John Jr. My Aunt was married and my mother out of H.S. Ann married my grandpa and was the only grandma I knew. She married my grandpa abt 1930 +. I am hoping to find information when she was in the convent, not sure which and more information on Grandma Ann Condon Penrod. email mbgeneal@bellsouth.net Thanks to all!
