I also have been working on my lines since 1980. I was familiar with Pinkney from Census data in 1850. What is the cemetery named where he is buried? Brother Granville moved to TX. Have just recently located a lot of data about the Madison Co. Davie line. I haven't explored Sarah Ellen McClain at all. Do you know who the wives of Pinkney were? You mentioned Charles T. Davy and Richard Densmore Davy. Who were they? I think I located some data on Richard's grave. I went to University of Memphis with a Pat Sullivan in the 1960s. With a name like mine, I'm used to people spelling and saying the name different ways.
