Hi, My husband and I were facinated at reading the posts you and others from Texas have written about the Holloway families. My husband is George Raymond Holloway. He was born in Miami. His dad was Louie Lacey Holloway who was from Pavo, Ga and when he married George's mom, Hari Albertina Romer, in Georgia. She was from Fernidine, Fl. Anyway, George's dad, Louie Lacey Holloway b abt 1900-03 in Georgia d 1948 in Miami, Florida or a snake bite when he picked up a bag of feed to use with his farm animals.
We have searched many ways to learn something about him. I learned he and Hari married in 1929 in Ga and divorced after 4 children in 1939. George was born in 1937 and remembers very little about his dad. His dad married Lois Green with two sons after the divorce and pretended he had no other children. We want to know all about the Holloways from all over the US. We feel the Lord will lead us to George's roots.
