Yes, your post clarifies a number of things for me. I could not believe it when I began to put things together. I reread your post and found the mention of your grandparents moving to Oregon. They also knew my grandmother's parents, John and Hanora Embrey. A number of years ago one of their daughters (I believe) came to Kentucky and to Leitchfield and visited with my aunts (Corda Embrey Daugherty and Reva (Dee) Embrey and my daughter and I were living with them at the time while my husband was over seas. The Van Norte sisters were their neighbors in Leitchfield. And your information makes perfect sense but I don't remember hearing about any brothers or sisters of granddad Bud House. On the other hand there was not a lot of information about his family that was easy to come by.
