Hello, came across the following from the Scranton, Pa papers...
THE SCRANTON REPUBLICAN, SATURDAY OCTOBER 30, 1897
PITTSTON
The Death of Cormack Bohan and the Death of Another Brother in Ireland.
The death of Cormack Bohan was not unexpected owing to his advanced years. He was aged 73 years, and was a man very highly respected. About a month ago he met with an accident at the chutes of the Pennsylvania Coal company and had his arm shattered between the bumpers of the cars. Everything possible was done to save the injured member, but without avail. The amputation was made, by Dr. Guthrie, and yesterday morning he passed away. He was a citizen of good repute like all members of that family. The funeral will take place Wednesday morning from the late residence of Pine street. In connection with the sad result, word has just been received from County Leitrim, Ireland that another brother, Francis, aged 83 died ten days ago. This leaves our townsmen the only remaining member of that family. This affliction is a sad dispensation and the family has the sympathy and confidence of all our people.
