Mine has just crashed simply exiting.

I am afraid that with Christmas virtually on us we are unlikely to see a patch this year.

I have used FTM from version 4 onwards. I started having problems with FTM 16 and every subsequent version has been a nightmare. You are lucky not to have had problems under Windoows.
I moved to Macs in October hoping that when FTMM was released, the problems would be over. I have had problems since the first few minutes, but actually I think it is not as bad as the Windows versions.
