Where did the William and Lottie Simpson live? Where they originally from Knoxville? Have you traced either side back?

What is the name of the Simpson Book? I did not know about it.

Thanks, Melissa

That would be so great...
I have pictures too that were in my dad's album
that I have tried to identify for nine years. Some
I got others I have not.
I have talked to anyone who was alive then and
got to share some of the pics with them.. I
did get to identify William and Charlotte and the
first three kids by sharing. I had one of a family
of nine and didn't not know who it was. Big find there.
Hope to hear from you soon.

YES,
it is good to hear from a Simpson....

Could we meet some where and exchange pics
and info??
I live northeast of Knoxville Center. We could meet there
and go to Office Max and make copies. They are reasonable
on the prices. We could meet at Applebees or Ruby Tuesday or anyother place around there.

Do you remember Jimmy and Kathy Rutherford?
Cecil and Alline Rutherford? Those are two of Rose
Whitson Rutherford's kids.
I remember some body living on Magnolia Ave in
a big brick house when I was little. We would go
visit. She was nice. Would you know who that was?

William and Charlotte lived in the Smith wood area
of Knoxville, Tn. but before that I did not find.
All the old simpsons are buried in the area at
Smithwood Baptist Church Cem.
The real old ones are buried at Forks of the River Lebonan
and we can ride the train at the Tenn.Grill on Neyland Dr.
and see it and the farm where they lived.
There are no stones left to see but it is interesting.
The book is out of print. A cousin told me of it a while
back and only 15 copies were left then. I got one and
it is great. Judy

Sounds good. I am taking a class right now but will be out with in a couple of weeks. My mother might know the Ruthfords. My grandparents lived off of Magnolia Ave, so they might know them.

Surnames: Simpson, Day, Henry,
Hi Judy,

Sorry, so far nobody knows them. My mother and her parents lived in a brick apartment building on Magnolia - maybe sometime in the 50's??? I was told Charlie Simpson lived in Burlington - near Magnolia.

According to an earlier email from Trina Simpson Wolf, Lottie Day was born 11-08-1866. Is this correct? She goes on to list the children: Vaughn 5-1880, Harriette 12-13-1867, Alice Ciney 11-12-1869, Sarah jane 06-1873, Jesse 12-1875, Rosa 08-1885, Charles 05-1888, Ida 12-1890

If this is correct, was Lottie a step mother to some of the children? She would have been 1 year old when Harriette was born and 3 when your gr-grandmother was born.

Please let me know about theses dates. I will paste in the message at the bottom from Trina.
