The freeway that went though Kenmore around 6th Street was about 60 years after George Witner's farm house was moved. Why it was moved is unknown to me. However, my uncle Arthur Wagner lived on Manchester Road, part of the old Witner farm until the freeway took the land. When I return to Hio I will send you an Akron Beacon Journal artical and photo of Uncle Art and Aunt Agnes in their garden regretting their move to Deering Drive n Fairlawn.
