It has been many years since you posted this. I am just discovering my Beattie roots in Argenteuil. I took a drive out to Chemin Beattie last weekend and tried to find some of the grave stones. Edward and Mary Ann are also my 3rd ggparents. I have Mary Ann's last name as McCreachy, based on the church records I have seen.

Anyway, what struck me about your email above is that you say the Beatties came through the US. Do you know the details?

I would love to hear any other details about the Beatties and other families in Argenteuil as well.
