Donna, I am a Texan. My family came to Fannin, Collin, Grayson counties in 1844 when it was The Republic of Texas. I don't think I am related to the Karnes City William Butlers or the others you mentioned. My Grandfathers were all William back to 1775. The reason I am on this board is a James Butler in the 1830 census of Jackson, Mo. I can't pin him down and he's living by my family. I can't tell if he's 20-30 yr old or 50-60 yr old.
By the way I have some photos of some of the Karnes City Butlers, Jincy and maybe Ahira. I would have to dig them out. I bought them in an estate sale in Floresville. Would like to give them a good home.
