Patterson (my g-g-grandfather) b. 1819 - he was a farmer in the Ragland District of Granville County, NC and a Confederate solidier. I don't know his middle name or where he was born. My father says our Pattersons came from the Henderson, NC area. John md. Susan Rowland (daughter of Pleasant Rowland) on April 16, 1845 in Granville Co., NC.
