Thanks for your prompt reply to my post.
My Elizabeth Ridgway always claimed to have been born in Maltby,but spent all her life in Manchester.As I may have said,there is a baptism of an Elizabeth Ridgway at Manchester in 1829 on the IGI.I think it's probable that this is the right one,in which case the family can't be the same as yours,as Thomas may have been dead by then.On her wedding certificate she gave her father's profession as shoemaker.Does this tally with your info? I suppose her baptism could have been delayed?
I had found the same siblings you have-the older sister Mary Ann was a witness at her wedding,and William(see censuses)lived in the same general area of Manchester-oh,how confusing!
