Hey Sandy, I don't know where my last answer went as I just hit reply when the alert came up on my email, and it's not showing up in here..This morning I showed my husband the obit for Elzada and he said "That's my Aunt Zadie". . .and he knew she was born after Richard and before Buelah, so I have no idea where the 1911 date came from, or if someone else was supposed to be in that slot. He had never heard her called by a nickname nor did he know the name Leatha, she was just Aunt Zadie. Where did you find the name Leatha? To tell you the truth, I did not research any of the collateral lines as I was working backward on Wade SR and that was all I was interested in at the time. I have the death notice for her sister Ethel only because I was looking up one of my ancestors in the CA death index and she was in there. I'm now updating the Elzada info in my computer program. Thank you for that obit.
I don't do much genie anymore due to lack of time, but when I do, am working on getting my daughter into the DAR from one of my husband's lines. You are doing a lot of digging, and I'm hoping you hit paydirt on that elusive Wade somewhere along the way.
Do you have an email address where we could correspond more privately? If so, I will give you mine. Looks like my husband and you are cousins, a few times removed. Thanks for all of the work you're doing and sharing. Oh, as for Uncle Troy's line, the male descendant for the DNA would be his great-grandson. He and Lucille only had the one son.
