Fred H. Stiteler,75,Anita,died Thursday,April 14,1977,in the DuBois Hospital.
Born August 11,1901, in Punxsutawney,he was the son of Henry and Bertha Bush Stiteler.
A retired railroader,he had lived all his life in this area.He was a member of the Elim Lutheran Church in Anita and the BPO Elks and FO Eagles of Punxsutawney.
Surviving are his widow,Ida Reed Anderson Stiteler;two daughters,Mrs.William(Betty Lou)Johnston,Rochester Mills;and Miss Brenda Reed,Punxsutawney;two grandchildren,two great grandchildren;two brothers,Dean and John,Punxsutawney,and two sisters,Mrs.Katherine Hibbert and Mrs.Phyllis Roberts,Port Charlotte,Fla.
He was preceded in death by two brothers,Ira and Telford,and a sister,Georgianne.
Friends will be received in the Schenkemeyer-Deeley Funeral Home in Punxsutawney from 7-9 pm today and 2-4 and 7-9 Saturday and until the time of services at 1:30 pm Sunday. The Rev.Guy Wilson will officiate and interment will be in the Lakelawn Cemetery near Reynoldsville.
