I'm afraid I cannot help you any on the Frances Jackman or Florence Jackman. The timeframes you are searching in are too current for my records. The latest Jackman in my line died in 1860 in Russell Co. KY. All the others are back even further. Sorry I can't be of more help.

I just read your posting and I am intriqued. I descend from Mary Nicholas who married a Milton Waits and lived in Arkansas for a while before moving to Texas and Oklahoma. I have never been able to find anything out about Milton Waits. Do you happen to have him anywhere in you database? Mary Nichols was the daughter of Rhoda "Rodie" Smith and Wylie T. Nicholas from TN.

I noticed the name "Ruben Gray Jr." and I am curious to know if you are related to a Nellie (Belt) Gray? I also have ancestors in the Belt Cemetery in Arkansas so we must belong to the same clan?

I have a lot of Nichols in the Franklin Co area. My ggg grandfather was Lawson Webster Nichols b in TN about 1814, his son, my gg grandfather, Lawson Webster Nichols (Jr?), married Mary Blanscett, lived most of his life in Franklin Co, died in Indian Territory @ 1889. Lawson (the elder) had several sons, Uriah and another I can't recall the name. Are you related to this line of Nichols? And, can you tell me who the Nichols are in Gar Cemetery?

My ggggrandparents were William and Cynthia Graves Nichols who married 1837 in Scott County, Kentucky. William was born about 1810. Cynthia died May 8, 1857 in St Clair County, Mo, and William married Margaret Matlock 1858. William and Cynthia's daughter Martha Ann married my gggrandfather Dr. John Phillip Trolinger. Does this fit in anyplace with your research? I have been unable to locate any ancestors or siblings for William. Would appreciate any help.

My grandfather Thomas Belts mother was a Martha Nichols.His sister was named Irene Belt and she married a Marvin Ross.My middle name is Irene .I was named after her.My Nichols family is from Arkansas too so its possibly the same?
