well i know that was on her paperwork. but as we were sorting and looking through it, aunt mollie (passed away in 1980 at age 93) had told us that ignatius west and elizabeth meacham was nancy's parents. mollie also told me that the west families from chatham,north carolina and some that had migrated to christian county,kentucky married within the family (like cousins marrying cousins) grandma lucy passed away april 6,1989 at age 101 just shy of her april 26th 102nd birthday. lucy was most certain the paperwork was correct. she told us she got this information from louisa and amos. i know there was a miles west born in russell county,virginia in 1753 and died in chatham north carolina, his son was miles west jr born in 1771. they have miles's wife as eastern, not easter adams but with no birth date just born in the state of virginia in a place called apple pie ridge. on my heritage website when i put miles as her father it blinks green as to be accepted. but then so does ignatius and elizabeth. so i have both sets of parents there.
