Things were looking up, at least briefly, but now it's back to "announce it on FB and expect users on this site to know"? Really? Seriously?

Come on, ACOM staff, it should be a no-brainer for you to post informational messages about this site right here, on your very own site! If you want to post elsewhere as well, go for it - but please, please post on your own homepage FIRST (not just as an afterthought, or as has happened so often, not at all...)
