Thank you for the information. Do you have the DOB & DOD for Mary "Polly" Ann Burkett? The Burketts haven't been the easiest for me to track. You may already know this story but my great great grandmother Epsey Mathews married Allen Turner Weaver. They had several children but only two survived childhood - Franklin Greenberry Weaver and Joe Cephus Weaver. Joe Cephus is my great grandfather. Anyway, Allen Turner Weaver died during the Civil War in Georgia. As a widow Epsey decided to move to Texas where there were some relative but she stopped in Southern Alabama where she met the much older widower, James Burkett and married him. A daughter of James Burkett was Charity Burkett, who was older than Epsey. Charity married John Parker and one of their daughters, Martha Missouri Parker married Joe Cephus Weaver, who in effect was her step uncle. My grandfather Albert Alma Weaver, the son of Martha Missouri, wrote a small book about his life when he was in his 80s and mentioned this fact.

If you didn't know this I thought you might find it interesting.
