I am an Oregon boy, decendant of Dewey Claborn. He and his brothers moved here from Broken Bow OK, in the 50's. He had one brother, Ode, and another Nealous (sp) who settled in Washington and California. My father died when I was young and any info I could get would be helpful. Also, I have some contacts who might be able to answer some questions about Claborn's in Oregon. Feel free to drop a line...

Wow, what great info. I would like to find out more about the Claborn family. I have been hit and missing on the web. If you could perhaps point me in a direction I would be very appreciative. My father died before I got much info on history. I live in Oregon, but my father, Dewey was born is Southern Oklahoma in 1911. He moved out here in the 50's. If I can return any info, please feel free to drop a line. Thanks,

Jasper was my greatgrandfather. His father was Robert (the Sebastian Co. Ark Census -I think 1870- mistakenly had his name as Richard P.) The family bible had Jasper's mother as Nancy Helen Harvey but Jasper had two brothers (1/2 or step named John Hulsey and Ebb Hulsey). I have never found whether there were two wives named Nancy or one Nancy who had sons by a first husband, Mr.Hulsey.
I have some information back to Alfred and Catherine but not much. I'd enjoy more and will be happy to share what I have as well as talk with Claborn cousins. Email me at tonjamur@aol.com
