I too am having problems with FTM crashing on merging. I have used FTM before on a PC with no problems whatsoever. I have used Macs for a number of years and have never had such cumbersome software and problems. I was looking forward to running FTM on my mac, but I am bitterly disappointed and feel it's time Ancestry sorted this out as only six months membership is given with the software and time is running out. What a rip-off!
