Hi...these are "my" Gordons :)

George was born 24.1.1812 son of Alexander Gordon and Mary McKay (m 29.3.1811)

His siblings were Eury (girl) b 15.7.1813 (cannot find any further info on Eury)

Jean b. 4.10.1814 (no further info)

Roderick b. 9.3.16 (no further info)

George married Betsy McKay in 1839. They had a string of kids and came out to Teviot in New Zealand in 1864 on board the Hamilla Mitchel. Betsy and baby Barbara died on board - of which we have diary records.

George son Alexander is my G Granddad and he had my Granddad Donald Gordon, born in Roxburgh, Teviot valley

What I want to know is what happened to Georg's sibblings as I have searched for deaths marriages and found nothin. Did they migrate??or die as children during the clearances?? Would love some closure for this :)
