Thank you for your guidance and the links, also! I will certainly review the sites, and the other information you posted. I think of the several links you shared I have only been to two or three of those.

I must clarify that my Anna Lechko probably never came to the USA. She was my great-great-great grandmother I only know her name via her daughters' marriage certificate where mother's name is identified. Both daughters (Sophia and Katie) married in Rochester NY. The story is that they came from near Rohatyn, but not necessarily together, but the only thing I am sure of is somewhere in Galicia. Their surname is spelled in variations from Beletzka to Balaski to Blasky at different points in their lives. Their father was names Antoni.
