My workig theory, in case you want it, is that Isaac somehow connects to the family of Thomas DeMoss who married --- Hunt. I dont' think Isaac is the son of either of the better known brothers of Phoebe, William and James, but two other younger brothers are tentatively listed, Thomas and Walter, and one of these or another not listed yet could be Isaac's dad. Mind, this only a theory based on the Braxton Co WVA proximity of these families. So far, the only families I have positively identified in this county are either connected to Isaac or connected to Phoebe DeMoss Keener (with a few hangers-on - perhaps children of the unidentified sibs of William and James). When you throw in everyone I have connected to Randolph Co Va, the proximity gets real interesting. If you make the connection for Isaac I would appreciate hearing it.
