Actually, it's 72 years, as mandated by Congress. The 1940 census is due to become available 12 April 2012. There are many of us who are anxiously awaiting their release.

Just found this thread via Roana. I have a lot of Wegley information. I will try to follow all these threads and see what I can provide, update or correct. Great work by some very dedicated posters.
