Wiley Lanson Digby and Lavinia Fondren are listed on the 1850 Bibb Co. AL census as having a daughter Cynthia R., age 8. This makes her birth about 1842-3. The R is probably Rebecca as Wiley's mother was named Rebecca. If this is your Rebecca, she is the sister of my husband's greatgrand father, John Harrison Digby. I have more infor on the Digby line.
