Norma, thanks for answering my post, the lady I was looking this info for is really not sure that John A. Polson's wife was a Waters, I saw in the 1900 Census that John had a son listed as James E. Polson, is this Ervin, I do not know at this time where she got Ervin Ross from, I will call her tomorrow and she if she is correct on that, do you happen to know who Josephines Williams parent were, the reason I ask is because my husband is decended from Williams around Sampson and Cumberland Counties in N.C.
From what she has told me Ervin Polson was her grandfather and he married Nellie Waters. She also has Josephine being born 18 July 1856 and d. 8 Nov 1913, does this sound right, her mother is Ethel May Polson(she is still living but can not remember much about her grandfather and grandmother), she married Cary Henry Bennett, will get back to you on the Ervin Ross name, I know she will be happy with the info on where John and Josephine are buried, Thanks, Helen
