My maiden name was Raifsnider and I think we may be distantly related. I spoke with my Uncle today and he recalled hearing about a woman from Michigan who was a teacher that had done some research on the Raifsniders. After reading the message boards, I believe this may be you. He had told me that there is a yearly Raifsnider family reunion (?) in PA. For some reason he thought you had worked on the family tree.......? I would like to find some information on this reunion, if it is still held, location, etc. My GGG Grandfather was William Raifsnider b. 1836 in Williamsport PA, married Jennie Gault in 1870.
