Jack -- I'm happy to share what I have, but I do not have it compiled yet. I'm working from piles of research notes. I extracted several of the GILBERT families in 1850, 1860, 1870 and 1880 Etowah County, Alabama censuses in an effort to identify the women of this name that James A. "Jim" HENSLEY married. When I get it put together, I'll be happy to share with you, but it might be a while as I'm going to be on vacation for a couple of weeks. I found in an uncited source that Jim Hensley married Panina GILBERT (I believe she is the one shown with her widowed mother in the 1880 census), Possibly Panina is "Nannie"? But I don't know how the person reached the conclusion or any source for this. I've written to them. However, it appears strange to me that Panina GILBERT would still be listed as a GILBERT and not a HENSLEY in the 1880 census, though I have seen this happen before when a married daughter was still in her parents' household.
