Look for the parents of Ewing Nathanial McCracken he moved to Parker Co. TX before 1886 from AR. Was a Sheriff for a short time in Parker Co. TX Just starting to work on the McCracken Family.

I have a Ewing N McCracken married to a Mary Jane Adams. He was born inTn and ended up in Okla. Had a son named Ewing Edward. JUst wondering if this could be the same one. Have heard some McCrackens came from Ark and TX but not much on this line. Thanks, Jean

No I do not thing that is the same, Ewing Nathanial McCracken b: 1854 In AR. think he was married to a Mattie Welch 1863 b: MO They got married in 1878 in Springtown, TX. he has a son Joseph W B: 1886

My Ewing Nathaniel McCracken did not have a daughter name Ada, Ewing was born in Madison, Arkansas and moved to Texas with his family William M. McCracken. Ewing was married to Martha Frances Welch in Parker Co., Texas. They died in Crosby Co., Texas

My great grandmother Mary "Mollie" M. Welch, married also in Parker Co. in 1883 to WJ or MJ Williams, was an older sister of Martha Frances Welch. Does anyone in your family have additional information on this Welch family?
